Earlier,the updated features of AMD Catalyst 11.1a Hot-Fix driver was exposed and later the download wasleaked.However,we got the news that AMD is still updating this driver.

According to the source,there is bug with AMD Catalyst 11.1a Hot-Fix driver,the bug in OpenGL tessellation leads to void in performance improvement.The development team is trying every means to update TessMark performance.

Sapphire Delivers Fusion APU Motherboard

After AMD Fusion APU is released,many manufactures have begun to introduce their products which are based on APU platform.And one of AMD cooperative manufactures Sapphire recently rolls out its own APU motherboard.

Its model number is PURE FUSION MINI E350,the motherboard adopts Mini ITX design,packs AMD Zacate E350 APU,features two single-channel DDR3 SO-DIMM notebook memory slots.
In addition,the mobo is with memory capacity of up to 4GB,provides a PCI-E x16 slot,a Mini PCI-E x1 slot and five SATA 6Gbps ports.

AMD Prepares Next-generation Netbook and Tablet PC Platform

According to a recent post at Digitimes, AMD is planning to announce its Brazos platform at CES 2011. It’s a combination of the company’s Ontario APU and Hudson-M chipset. The next-generation platform codenamed Deccan, which consists of Krishna APU and Yuba chipset, is also around the corner.
AMD will start the internal testing of Deccan in Q1 2011, and then send samples to clients by the end of the second quarter. The mass shipments are expected to start as early as the end of 2011.
The new Brazos platform should be helping AMD to gain some market share in the netbook market.
